Class Format:
The wheel throwing class follows a hands-on approach with a small student-to-instructor ratio to provide individual attention and guidance. Each session consists of a demonstration followed by ample time to practice and experiment on the pottery wheel. You will be provided 4 1lb. balls of clay to practice with. You may choose 2 to have fired and glazed with your choice of glaze.
No prior experience is required, making this class perfect for beginners who are eager to jump-start their pottery journey. Intermediate and advanced students looking to refine their skills and expand their artistic horizons are also welcome.
Class Duration:
Our wheel throwing class is held for one hour and can be utilized by beginner to advanced artists.
Materials:
All necessary materials, including clay, tools, and glazes, are provided. Students are welcome to bring their own tools if desired.
